Born in Brisbane in 1952, Kerry Nobbs is a highly respected Australian Landscape Painter. Self-taught, he spent his early years painting murals in the Tweed Valley and Gold Coast regions of Australia. Painting in oil, Kerry turned professional in 1984, with the win of his first art prize.
Today, Kerry travels Australia extensively, absorbing the landscape - particularly the light and atmosphere, which he captures so elegantly in his main source of inspiration - rugged mountain ranges, remote valleys and pristine coastline.
Kerry's fine art oil paintings are available through art galleries and shows. He also has a range of Canvas Giclee Prints from the Western Australia Coastline to the Red Centre of Alice Springs and the Mountains of Tasmania to the local images of South East Queensland, where he is still based.
